since today is 31st and i'll be leaving singapore in a few hour's time, shall blog my last post of the year..
2008 has been a WOW year for me..
unlike most ladies out there, i did not enter the uni.. neither did i retake my As.
but wells, life still move on and i'm quite happy with wad i am now.
this whole year, i really need to thank alot of pple.. especially my special half- dar dar...

Things that happened in 2008:
1) a pleasant surprised bdae party planned by dear and gang ... Its the first time my friends really put in the effort... with dear bringing me around to pam and jon getting the cake and getting lost to darren booking the place and waiting there for them..
I really miss the jc times when we hang out and play and have fun and chill as jon bang on the grand piano.. (=

2)working in the same company as dear since nov 2007 till march 2008 was also happening. knowing really close friends like azziana, asykin, my jie, anna mummy, nadiah, zi yong, julia, jasmine, rozana, hwee keng and many more... sorry if i never type your name out... too many to type... it was really fun when we were cursing and swearing as we answered calls.. and how we mute the fone and talk among ourselves..
i also had my fun when i was sitting with dear and ziyong.. remembering the times when zy was so into the crystal babies that he became my nanny... hahz(=
i also enjoyed the gathering at east coast park (BBQ in the rain) and the mini gathering even though most of them started school.
i really miss you all... lets meet up soon (=

3) spending an entire month with dear just before he entered the ns..
i wonder how we managed to play the whole entire month without draining our $$ fast... (=
but that one month was really precious cos thats when we get to spend the most time together.
ooo.. of course dear's bdae... had a mini celebration at his house... (= and he peeled the egg for me.. hhaz.. but time flies fast... soon he entered ns..
the first day he entered... life seems like a thousand years... cos 3 weeks cannot come out.. somehow the phrase " absence makes the heart fonder" seem so true..
and not forgetting how his mum cried like there's no tomorrow the moment anyone mentioned his name. dear used to say how strict his parents are to him... and how he made me feel that he doesnt have much parental love compared to his siblings... but when he entered ns the first 3 months, i could tell his parent dote on him alot.. esp his mum.. his dad will send him back everyweek without fail.. wadever he wanted, they will give in. when he needed to get things, they will send him to beach road..
i felt it.. warmth..

4) then many things happened.. dear signed on. posted to ocs and now training camp. times we meet is onli the weekends.. sometimes life seems tough.. i used to love sat alot... but there were times i realli hate the weekends to arrive... even more hate the sat... cos sat's when i had to divide my time for my lessons, dear's family, my family and also exercise time with my cousins.
it was tiring until i told dear about it.. thankfully we came to an agreement that alternate weeks we go our family side.

5) as i said many things happened..
when ah di's gonna have his PSLE the next day, a sad thing happened...
ah ma left everyone.
she suffered for many months since her fall. a normal fall leading to liver break down.
seeing her getting worse as the months pass. transferring in and out of st luke to NUH back to st luke. she laid unconscious for a while. then got better. However, in the end.. seeing her suffer so much that she could not respond anymore besides kicking her leg, her family members recited something for her to leave peacefully. She had chosen to left, the day no one slept in the living room.

6) i've joined an events company since may for MOE ExCEL fest 2008. though new, my colleagues were super nice. i never mentioned how much i was afraid of patsy before right? i always thought she's the fierce woman.. hahz.. wells. after MOE ExCEL Fest, i stayed on as a perm staff. and had many other events such as HDB awards, HPB awards, JC&C F1 lunch party, F1 dinner event. also did alot of proposal.. my first proposal with sudhir is for RP open house event. though not successful, we stayed up till late just to do the proposal.
i'm glad to be part of this team with leslie, patsy, carl, heidi, zanjun (zinky), joycelyn, sudhir, wendy and jesline.
as time passess by, we are not jsut colleagues but more of friends. (=
ooo.. and x'mas lunch at leslie and carl's parent house... it was such a wonderful house... had nice turkey and ham made by their mum.
their dog is lovely too... but i dunno why i'm scared of it.

7) x'mas... had alot of presents and also this year i sent out alot of cards to friends who thought i've forgotten them.. (= i did not!!! (=
miss all my friends..
had quite a number of gatherings. was fun.. but the one i'm actually expecting was cancelled... quite saddded...
wells.. we had an mini xo team gathering at pam's house.. was a pot luck dinner.. so cos i was working... couldnt prepare much... bought mexican wings instead.. (=
and of course at work, we played this secret santa game.. all of us had to give a gift or not more than 20 buck to our secret santa. so i had leslie... dint know wad to gift... so in the end i DIY a cup for him (= thankfully he loved it..
had pot luck at dear's house too.. gina invited all her friends and was really happening... ah di also invited 2 friends over to play com.. xo team was supposed to come.. but pam cant make it cos of her hair.. so the rest dint come in the end..

i really really had no regrets making friends with all of you... you guys rawkz.. we all helped one another when we were in need of help.. times when you helped me solve my problems and time when i chip in my part in helping you guys.. though we hardly meet up now cos of the guys, we're just as close as b4 yea??? (=

others who have contributed a part to my life but i've not mentioned:
wanna thanks each and everyone of you... my life is made more colourful with you guys.. even if it was history, present, or maybe the future... thanks alot... (=

dear:
20 months tgt le!!! (= thanks dear.. for really putting up with all my weird tempers... i know i always throw my temper at you... (= but thanks for tolerating so well... muackz.. i also must really thank you alot for waiting for me to love you one and only... though from the start i got tgt with you jsut to forget someone... but i'm really touched by wad you did for me all these months.. even though we quarrelled alot alot alot of times... thanks for giving in to me... in the end we will cry together and end off with a hug and a kiss... i know everytime i made you upset... all i need to cheer you up is a kiss.. when you're in camp, i cannot do anything except to send you off and give you energy booster in advance..
this 20 months was tough but i'm glad we made it... there's many more months to go.. (= and i'm waiting for the 8th year to come (= remember our deal?? heex...
dear i'll miss you... but once i touch down to singapore, i'll come find you k?? dun sad wor... (=

mm... yest went to evon's house for a christmas dinner... it was a dinner with dear's sec classmates.. felt weird la... haix..
at night was upset with dear... we cried... yet again... haix... mm... but today ok le... played bball after piano... wanted to meet alvin and gang to play de... but too many pple le... and i also dunno how to ask... felt fuunny...
so in the end we went to pioneer the bus stop that bball court to play...
evening went to popo's house to eat tang yuan... then went to 429 for dinner...
then left for dear's house... cos dear gotta go back camp at night...
thats my weekends...

we all think back at our past.. and laugh at how stupid/clumsy/ funny we were... but those were the days that will never return...
i would say i dun have much childhood... but i think there is still some... the days where i realli had a lot of fun playing with all my cousins.. at how my older cousins will bully me.. and how my older cousins took care of me and do silly things...
hahz.. how my cousins will fight with each other, jus to get a toy or even how the older will bully the younger and i will sit and watch the fun show..
how we will be so enthu over christmas... playing musical chairs... dancing in the "snow" but now we wun even gather anymore...
i realli miss those times...

ok... today i had my first official ordering from subway... hazh... was fun i should say... i used to hate the smell of it... but today was fine (= whee!!! but now my wallet got another hole... spent alot alot alot...

tue i had a long day outside...
hahz.. morning totally forgot that i had a meeting at smu... luckily it was informal..
hazh... cos i wore a simple tee and slippers..

mm... ok... so had breakfast at smu... bought a cup of tcc drink... orea mocha frappe...
mm... then ate toast... actually bougth for carl de... but he thought the egg was for me... so he dint eat until it was colder... =(
mm... ok... spent like near 2 hrs at smu talking to steven about the yog floorplan...
discussion and "bickering" about where we can put the tents..
mm... and we saw something terrible/sad/shocking...
a bird got shot down.. or wadever reason... but it was dead when we heard the tud sound...
then came a crow eating the bird's head adn god knows wad...
after the first crow left... came another to eat... feathers were flying everywhere, esp so when the wind blew towards our direction...
sad to birdie... cos even though its dead, it dint die in 1 whole piece...

ok... enough of the dead bird... back to work...
after smu... we went to HPB for site inspect...
mm... took alot of photos cos we dint take pics of HPB b4...
amazingly carl allowed me to take pics with the cam... cos previously he complaint i took too much pics..

but this time the pics i took failed... way below expectation...

cos apparently his friend got him a prexxie... but he dint...
so ok lo.. .accompany him to vivo to get a prezzie...
went to adidas.. and after some time... sudhir decide to get a plain polo tee... lucky his friend like plain stuff
hahz... so after buying that.. we da bao lunch back...

wed... was a hectic day...
cos proposal dateline for YOG and HPB... HPB was first... mmm... so heidi dint join us for lunch...
and cos the clicker was ready for collection... i had to make a trip to vivo again...
mm... and sudhir needed to get a dvd cleaner...
so we went to city hall first then go vivo...
met up with zj and joycelyn at vivo for lunch...
but the funny part was when i smsed zj.. in the sms i called her nick "zinky"
but sent the sms to the wrong person... sent it to zhiwei instead.. .so ps... hahz...
mm... finally met them at vivo... ate a super ex lunch... which i dint know initially it will be that ex until the lady told me the price... i got a shock...
mm... and for a long time.. i drank ribena... cos no lemon tea...
mm.... then went to best denki collect the clicker...
whoots... .they replace the spoilt one wiht a brand new one...

went to find out laptop price for kor also...
now not worth buying laptop...
mm... then patsy called a few times... heidi also... think cos they rushing then we're all out... after we got back to office... heidi left soon.... but then so funny... she left without knowing which level to put the proposal...
so she had to call... and freak sudhir out.. cos of her messy laptop...
ahzh... mm.... after work was sad sad day...
dear couldnt come find me cos after his dinner with course mates, they all had to return to camp to finish up the admin touch up... if not fri cannot go home early.... so no choice lo...
i went home after work...
but the journey home yest was super long cos of the terrible jam...
longer than usual...
at home was watching this dunno wad edition the 10 bros...
wahlau... i dunno wad to comment... its funny and stupid and so unlike the tv one...
but one thing i like about it is that the whole show is in canto...

kudos to myself and everyone who has completed standard chartered marathon... be it half or full...

well... i joined the half marathon with uncle law law, nick, cedric, dear and gina...

so the first 2 km we were running tgt...

but at one point, we got seperated... cos nick and cedric went ot toilet and we decided to wait for them while walking... but then we never see both of them... while gina and uncle continued running.. mm.. so i somewad injured myself while running... afte the 13km mark... i cant run anymore.. was starting to limp... but pulled myself tgt to walk all the way...

cos dun wan a DNF( did not finish).. so i walked slowly... and yea... when i really wanted to try run again... my muscles were so tense that it hurts... so walked quickly... mm... finally when reached the end... i was sooooo happy... (= was also very touched... that dear actually accompany me throughout the race (= he could have run the 21km de.... but cos of me, he chose to walk with me despite his blisters... thanks dear dear...

after the run... met up with uncle, nick and cedric. then we went to city link coffeetoast for a drink (= then went home... after bathing had a nice sleep uptil 6pm.. then went ot lot one for dinner and watch bolt... gosh... the doggy is so cute... heex...

today's a nice day too.... went to safra yishun for bowling... had a fun time with the whole family...
its a rare chance that the whole family get to go out besides going to ah ma's house...
now they're still at ktv... and mummy lost her fone.. =( so yea... haix...
